Hodges Private Client

Portfolios for the individual investor

"When You're at Hodges, You're Home"

Who We Are

The Hodges Family has enjoyed a long history in the money management business starting with the late Don Hodges. He started in the business back in 1960 and over the ensuing decades, honed a research process that we still use today. The tenure of our organization is quite deep, with most of our key people having multiple decades of experience. In fact, the average tenure of our portfolio managers and research analysts is 21 years. We have had to navigate through countless market cycles, and our clients appreciate the rigorous research approach that we use.

What We Do

Hodges Private Client (HPC) is a program offered by Hodges Capital Management, a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). HPC is geared toward helping the individual investor achieve their desired goals at various life stages. Whether you are in the wealth accumulation phase of your life or in the retirement income generation mode, we have a portfolio to fit your needs. When constructing portfolios for our clients, we leverage our internal research capabilities to find the most relevant opportunities given the current market environment. This type of investment process truly sets us apart from our competition.

What We Do Not Do

We are not in the business of selling or promoting financial products with hidden fees or sales charges, as this invites potential conflicts of interest. We also feel that the advisory industry has become far too reliant on the extensive use of funds and other products as a means of accessing the financial markets. Product-driven investment portfolios tend to invite additional costs, are all too common, require little expertise to construct, and are devoid of any specific strategy. By not managing in this way it actually sets us apart from most other advisors.

Fiduciary [fəˈdo͞oSHēˌerē] - A fiduciary is a person or organization that acts on behalf of another person or persons, putting their clients’ interests ahead of their own, with a duty to preserve good faith and trust.

Hodges will always act in our clients’ best interests and will always put our clients’ interests ahead of our own.

Our Approach

Every investor has unique needs. Some want growth or cash flow, others want to avoid certain industries or companies. At Hodges, investment management starts with you. We take the time to understand your long-term goals and specific needs. Only then can we create a portfolio recommendation that focuses on your goals and adapts as markets change.

Many investment advisers stick to one style of investing, such as growth, momentum or value. But what happens when their style falls out of favor? That’s when narrow specialization could hurt your portfolio returns. Hodges prefers a flexible approach that can adapt with our forward-looking market views.

You deserve a manager who does more than just pick stocks. Hodges meticulously analyzes markets and then identifies the most attractive investment categories. Our thorough approach yields results over time.
